How to get the appliers to work right:

After you've bought your appliers, locate them in your inventory. Then double click on the applier object. It should be visible on your hud (top right corner)
While wearing the item that you want the texture applied to (Lola Tango, Slink etc);
Click on the round skin tone area button. Your item should now recieve the correct texture to match with your skin. A chat message should appear confirming that the applier applies the texture. (if this is not the case, contact Mallory Cowen by notecard and request a new copy, the applier might have broken by delivery lag) Make also sure you have the latest version of your mesh body part if no texture is applied.

FAQ: The texture doesn't blend in correctly?

===============
1) Remove blend layers
===============
Some of the mesh body parts (such as SLINK hands & feet) include blend layers. Make sure you are NOT wearing these.

===============
2) Correct graphics settings.
===============
You will need to have some settings in your graphics preferences on for the mesh items to look correct.

Press CTRL+P to enter the Second Life preferences. Click on graphics..Make sure that "BASIC SHADERS" and "HARDWARE SKINNING" is on. If you don't see these settings, click on the "Advanced" button.

===============
3) Make sure the color hasn't been tinted.
===============
IIf you previously have tried using some sort of custom color hud that's included in the purchase of your mesh body part it might have tampered with the default settings of the color on your item.
To make sure it's right;
Right click on your mesh body part --> Choose "EDIT" (depending on the viewer, sometimes you cant click on body parts directly, first select something else that is not your body), after that is selected, now click on your body part) --> A window will appear, click on the "TEXTURE" tab. --> You will now find a square box where it says "COLOR" --> Click on it, and make sure it's completly white. Then press Done, and close the edit window.

4) Wrong lighting
===============
Since the item you bought is a body part that is attached to your avatars body (not a part of it) a seam might appear where your bought body part and the avatars body part connects. This seam has nothing to do with the texture, but has to do with the way the Second Life lighting appears on your two seperate objects (avatar body & mesh body item)

There are a few steps you can take to remedy this.

First, make sure you have "BASIC SHADERS" enabled in your graphics preferences (press CTRL+P to open up your preferences, then click on "GRAPHICS", there you'll find the option for basic shaders. Since it controls the basics of how lighting works on all Second Life objects it is crucial to use this.

Other is to use a windlight setting to display your avatar in a better way and make the seams disappear.
We've included our own custom windlight sky setting: DOWNLOAD HERE (right click and SAVE AS):
installation and usage instructions can be found here.
